It’s difficult to think of any other guitar player that has mastered the range of styles that Ry Cooder has. This new album is, as the title suggests, a scathing look at the current election process in America and the main players.
Cooder stands for the working man and the unions, and his anger at the greed and the damage done to society gets a loud voice in these songs. It’s vintage Cooder and just wonderful.
