Dirty Jeans and Mudslide Hymns by John Hiatt
John Hiatt’s career has spanned over 30 years and his work has been covered by Bob Dylan, B.B. King, Bonnie Raitt and Eric Clapton, to name a few. Along the way he has given us Bring The Family, Slow Turning and the great Crossing Muddy Waters from 2000. Don’t expect anything different here. Expect a great songwriter excelling at his craft, telling us stories of characters and places rich in personality and colour. His gravelly voice rocks and rolls along with a bluesy, soulful feel. Always listen to his albums from start to finish and let the chapters build like a good book that you can’t put down till you’re done.
