Chimney's Afire: Josh Pyke

Josh Pyke surprised me last year with his excellent debut album, Memories And Dust. It was one of my albums of the year and as good a debut Australian album as I can remember in the last 10 years. Obviously, the expectations are somewhat heightened for an artist who sold 50,000 copies and won an ARIA award. And pleasingly, he has once again delivered the goods. He can rightly be judged as one of our best contemporary songwriters, a man with an ear for a tune and a future as bright as the sun.
