Build a Rocket Boys by Elbow

Build a Rocket Boys is the much anticipated follow-up to 2008’s Mercury prizewinning Seldom Seen Kid, from Manchester’s hardest working band. Having toiled away for the best part of 20 years in relative obscurity, it is fantastic to see this superb band hit their stride in recent years – and the fine run of form continues on this album, which is sure to delight long-time fans and newcomers alike. First single Neat Little Rows once again pushes their sound forward, with the yearning, unmistakable voice of Guy Garvey providing the wings on which the track soars. Elsewhere, tracks like the wonderfully titled Lippy Kids provide more reasons why Elbow is a band who has earned its well-deserved place in the sun.
