Backspacer: Pearl Jam

Pearl Jam return with their ninth studio record spanning a 20-year career. Teaming up again with Brendon O’Brien, who produced some of their 90s albums, Pearl Jam continue with a strong, up-tempo release that they clearly sink their teeth into.

An irresistible first single, 'The Fixer' leads onto other great rockers and ballads and Vedder's voice, once described as 'ragged, enraged mongrel' shines. Unlike the last release, Backspacer took a month to record and as Stone Gossard states, 'Pearl Jam is much better when we’re not thinking!' Right on!
