I’m well aware that this series is not to everyone’s liking, and I have to admit, I wasn’t entirely sold on the last couple of books, even though I’m a die-hard Artemis Fowl fan. However, this new book is a cracking read! We meet our hero facing a terrible dilemma: his mum is really sick with a disease of the Fairy World. With time running out, and joined by the LEP’s own Holly Short, Artemis races to save his mother, going back in time to take on his younger, craftier self!
