It records the communication and organisation that has to happen between himself, the patient, the doctors, the fire service and other Ambulance crews to ensure the effective release of a critically injured casualty. Conversely what a high it is to orchestrate a successful resuscitation following a sudden home death. It describes the more comical and lighter moments of the job with amusing stories and prediciments he finds himself in, when judgement calls go wrong!!!
