Directed by Mad Men star John Slattery (who plays aging playboy Roger Sterling), God’s Pocket stars the late, great Philip Seymour Hoffman in one of his final roles.

When Mickeys (Hoffman) crazy stepson Leon is killed in a construction accident, nobody in the working class neighborhood of Gods Pocket is sorry hes gone. Mickey tries to bury the bad news with the body, but when the boys mother (Christina Hendricks) demands the truth, and a local reporter (Richard Jenkins) starts sniffing around, Mickey finds himself stuck in a darkly comedic life and death struggle. A body he cant bury, a wife he cant please and a debt he cant pay.
