Review

Sometimes you read titles and it doesn’t quite sink in, read the title again. Yes it is what you think it is. It’s an orchestra of men, dressed in drag. Well, if that got your attention (as it did mine), their music will hold your interest. These are some really terrific musicians. This is their double debut album, firstly of 17th Century English music, coupled with the music of Frido Kahlo, or Mexican music of the 17th Century. It doesn’t matter what these musicians wear or call themselves, they are going to be remembered for a distinct sense of musicianship and yes, there’s an undefinable flavour to their music.
