Forming in 1994 in their hometown of REYKJAVÍK, Iceland, SIGUR RÓS have come to international acclaim and prominence for their iconic brand of ethereal, dramatic rock. Over six albums, including the landmark Ágætis Byrjun (1999) and Takk (2005), the band have toured alongside the worlds biggest bands (including RADIOHEAD), headlined the worlds finest festivals, had tracks appear in film and television (VANILLA SKY, SKINS, CSI: MIAMI) and much more to become one of the most exciting and pioneering acts of the past decade.
Inni is comprised of a double live album and seventy-five minute film of SIGUR RÓS last show before their hiatus at the end of 2008. Recorded and shot over two nights at Londons ALEXANDRA PALACE at the close of the world tour around their fifth full length album, Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust, Inni sees the band at the peak of their powers, captured on film for the first time as a core four-piece since they were joined by string section amiina at the start of the century. Directed by VINCENET MORISSET (the director behind ARCADE FIREs Miroir Noir), the film debuted at this years VENICE FILM FESTIVAL.
