Review

[[brandi-carlile1]]This is album number four for Carlile and it’s a sweet and soulful collection. She has such an expressive voice that works so well with her indie/country-rock inspired songwriting.

Think Alison Krauss meets Bonnie Raitt and you’ll know whether this is the girl for you. Her lyrics reflect on her life as a maturing artist, and even at only 30 she seems a little nostalgic for her recent youth. But it’s all fun anyway, according to her songs, and that’s all that matters.
