Review

There are a lot of good Baroque orchestras out there that are really making their mark in the world of recordings. The Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra’s new release features a CD and DVD of their Galileo Project, their contribution to the United Nations International Year of Astronomy in 2009. Not only are they virtuosic but in the DVD, they don’t use music! With a fluid sense of ensemble, soloists and narrators wander out onto the stage to discuss the world and space through music and poetry.
