Loreena McKennitt release her first unplugged recording. Troubadours on the Rhine was recorded in a Germany and features the singer in a unique radio performance in a house concert setting. The album features her musical companions Brian Hughes on guitar and Lavelle on the Cello. The songs were drawn from her latest album The Wind that Shakes the Barley and from across her catalogue of nine studio albums, including fan favourites, The Lady of Shalott, Bonny Portmore and The Bonny Swans.
