\nI’ve been listening to Steve Earle albums for years. From the\nminimal Train A Comin’ to the political Jerusalem and\n_The Revolution Starts…Now_. I’ll go out on a limb and say\nthat this could be the best Steve Earle album ever. Whether or not\nit is just a record for its time, it nonetheless introduces us to\nhis new adopted hometown of New York. From the first track where he\nsays goodbye to the same town that launched his career in 1986,\nEarle fills his songs with funky drum beats and even a world music\nvibe. It is a very introspective album for Earle but I have no\ndoubt it will be regarded as a modern classic.
