Contemporary Australia: Women, celebrates the diversity, energy and innovation in work by senior, established and emerging contemporary Australian women artists across all media and backgrounds.

Addressing key exhibition themes - performing femininity; womens particular life experiences; the use of everyday domestic materials by women; redressing the canon of painting; and key current political and social issues this publication features writing on over 50 artists and their projects, including the Contemporary Australia: Women in Film program.
