Bill Granger concedes he has emerged from the ‘phase of wanting to be authentic down to the last detail’. While he may have mellowed, his recipes still invigorate. I adore his pumpkin, chilli and coconut soup, and the cashew and chicken curry is just as quick, but tenfold nicer than a takeaway. For those evenings when only a bibimbap will satiate but you don’t have the the energy for a full-scale expedition to Chinatown – Bill delivers.
