Going Down Swinging (GDS) is an Australian-based international literary journal publishing short stories, flash fiction, poetry, comic art and spoken word, all in the one book/CD package.

Currently edited by Lisa Greenaway and Klare Lanson, Going Down Swinging has been publishing fine anthology since 1980. Now publishing two issues a year, in Autumn/Winter and in Spring/Summer. In 2009 Going Down Swinging No.28 (May/Jun) and No.29 (Nov/Dec) will feature new short fiction, poetry, comic art and a spoken word CD, plus specially commissioned graphic novellas and spoken word tracks.
