Underbelly: A Tale Of Two Cities
Season two opens with a two-part telemovie set in the late 1970s, documenting the rise and rise of the illegal drug trade in Australia and the players involved. Kiwi Terry Clark (Matthew Newton) seeks to become rich by importing high-quality heroin from Singapore, but he'll need the help of NSW orange farmer "Aussie" Bob Trimbole (Roy Billing) to do so. The early successes of their partnership are hampered by anti-drugs campaigner Donald Mackay (Andrew McFarlane), who learns the hard way that these are men who don't like to be messed with.
