Remember the 1970s? Sam Tyler doesn't - he was only four at the time...

After a near-fatal car accident, Sam finds himself mysteriously transported back to 1973. Confused by his new and outdated surroundings, Sam frantically tries to return to the present, without success. Frightened and alone, Sam must quickly come to terms with what has happened by doing the one thing he knows best - his job.

Will Sam catch the killer? Will he be able to get back to the present?
