Written and created by Simon Pegg and Jessica Stevenson, this British comedy was one of the best in the late 90s, known for its fast-paced editing, loads of pop culture references and slip-streams of surrealism. Daisy, an aspiring writer and Simon, a comic-book artist, pretend to be a couple to move into a flat together. Unfortunately, the landlord lives upstairs and the two must keep up the façade, with hilarious results.
