Che: Part 1

Directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Benicio Del Toro, Che is a two part biopic based on the life and diaries of the iconic revolutionary Ernesto 'Che' Guevara. Part one tells the story of the Cuban revolution as Guevara and Casto land on the island intent on toppling the dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista. Did you know? Benicio Del Toro chose Ryan Gosling for the role of Benigno Ramirez. Gosling met with the real Ramirez and even learned Spanish for the part but delays in pre-production forced him to drop out of the film.
