Australias worldrenowned rock string quartet Fourplay return with their fi rst album in too many years and it is a massive step forward. Long remembered for their very clever interpretations of contemporary classics (Velvet Underground, Jeff Buckley, Metallica etc) they have added a depth in original songwriting & Lara Goodridges very impressive voice. Of course, they still have a few great covers (Miles Davis, Strokes & Radiohead) and the album contains infl uences as diverse as klezmer, tango, slide guitar & folktronica. Beautiful album design & packaging make it one rather impressive album.
