Laura Dern stars as Nikki, an actress signed to star in a new movie an adulterous love story directed by Kingsley (Jeremy Irons) and co starring the womanising Devon (Justin Theroux). But the film is actually the cursed remake of a project that was abandoned after its two leads were murdered, and so Nikki and Devon find themselves struggling to distinguish between fantasy and reality as their worlds collapse around them in a bizarre sequence of events.
