Labyrinth tells the tale of spoilt and dreamy young girl Sarah (Jennifer Connely), whose ire at having to mind her baby brother Toby leads her to call the Goblins from her favourite story tale to take him away. The Goblin King Jareth (David Bowie) refuses to return him unless she can solve the mysteries of his Labyrinth or both will be trapped under his influence for all eternity.

Jim Henson's studios have produced plenty of high quality productions. After long last his collaborative visions with Illustrator Brian Froud have been released as Collector's editions on DVD. Henson, for anyone not born on Earth; created The Muppets, Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, the Storyteller series and still sets the standard for puppetry and animatronics today. Both films are collaborations with Brian Froud, an amazing painter and illustrator whose books include Faeries, Good Faeries Bad Faeries, Goblins and the World of the Dark Crystal.

The DVD features behind the scenes documentaries on the making of the film, deleted scenes, production and promotional artwork, collector's booklets and Widescreen presentation.
