Allow us to introduce your new favourite duo...Fernandez & Wright...creators of ten original, sublime fresh jazz cuts that are soon to be heard everywhere.
The duo spent a solid year writing the album with an acoustic guitar, keyboard and mini disc recorder. Preparing for the recording of the album, they only had one rehearsal session with the band three months before going into the studio! The songs were essentially recorded as live performances (all together in the one room with partial separation) and were tracked in two days at Armstrong studios in South Melbourne (by Doug Brady). Players on the release include Sam Keevers, Ben Robertson, Dave Beck, Alex Pertout and Chong Lim.
