One of the most influential bands to arise from Seattle’s grunge movement of the 1990’s, Alice In Chains have been dormant since the death of their notorious superstar frontman, Layne Staley, in 2002. The last studio album, Alice In Chains, was released 14 years ago and no new repertoire has been made commercially available since. Alice In Chains are now back with an evolved sound and a new co-vocalist William Du Vall. After signing an exclusive worldwide deal with EMI’s Virgin Records they are gearing up for the release of their first new studio album in 14 years Black Gives Way To Blue. Among the many highlights which includes the first single 'Check My Brain', Black Gives Way To Blue, includes a special guest performance by Elton John on the album’s stunning title track, 'Black Gives Way To Blue', a heart-stirring tribute to Alice In Chains’ late lead singer Layne Staley.
