The Bronx, the punk rockers from Southern California have only been around for four years, but have left a massive dent in the punk rock scene worldwide, after being signed with only twelve live shows under their belt! They have quickly established a cult following with heavy touring, intense live shows and their unusual blend of 1980's punk and rollicking rock. The Bronx's style is highly influenced by bands from the 80s Californian punk scene, such as Black Flag, Fear and the Bad Brains. The new record manages to smear the line of division where music and art meet, and was culled from a palette of cultural and artistic influences, from the Latin-inspired Dirty Leaves to the closing notes of the glammed out methadone come-down of White Guilt - the record bobs and weaves it way around the sonic landscape, and somehow manages to stay on the tracks, never losing the groove.
