A Pornographic Affair

It began as a purely sexual arrangement between anonymous strangers, a ‘pornographic’ affair. Now a woman (Nathalie Baye – Day for Night, The Return of Martin Guerre) and a man (Sergi López – Pan’s Labyrinth, Dirty Pretty Things) recall their unusual affair in separate interviews. She, single and unattached, places an ad seeking a partner with which to play out a long imagined sexual fantasy. He is the handsome respondent. Both describe a relationship that grows beyond an impersonal erotic encounter, something verging on love, two soul mates joined in strange, unforseen circumstances.
