No Vacancy Press has recently launched two illustrated books put together lovingly by Charlie Lance and Ghostpatrol.
The books were launched at an exhibition of the original works, collaborative pieces by both artists and selected prints from within their pages on the 17th of December 2009 at No Vacancy Gallery.
The inaugural No Vacancy Press series of books is intended to facilitate the crossover between original work and collectable books. A simple "24 Page Book" format has been used to showcase two artists with a uniquely intrinsic narrative quality to their work.
Books are limited editions of 500 with special editions available for purchase only at the exhibition.
A self-taught artist residing in Melbourne, Ghostpatrol has established himself worldwide as a respected exhibiting artist and active street artist.
In the past few years he has exhibited in Manchester, Vienna, Berlin, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Barcelona.
His versatile style floats between fine line ink work, acrylics on wood and spray paint murals. Through his work he explores child-like memories with a twist of hidden evil.
