Ok, so it’s been a while since the last Groove Armada album. Everybody remembers their anthem I See You Baby (that was eight years ago) and they’ve had a few releases since then, so how have they progressed? Thankfully, DJs Tom Findlay and Andy Cato have stuck to what they do best – an all-out party album. A fabulously diverse mix of deep groove-based dance beats; eighties influenced synth sounds; nu-soul vocals, funk and some nice dancehall and reggae tracks in there as well. A large guest contributor roster is ever present – Angie Stone and Tony Allen to name a few, and helps to make each track unique on this eclectic album.
