This CD features the World Premiere Recording of Glass’s 2010 Double Concerto for Violin, Cello and Orchestra. The work is an exciting tourde-force with three orchestral movements enveloped by duets by the soloists. The Tirol Concerto written in 2000 was Glass’s first piano concerto.
