Mark Knopfler returns with his first album in years. This two-CD\nset contains all original songs that were written on both sides of\nthe Atlantic, spanning themes, locations and characters that\ninhabit these two worlds. Although Knopfler has a rambling,\nstoryteller style, he continues to cross genres and the album\ncontains many blues-style tracks as well as a sense of soulfulness.\nThe band, as always, comprises the best of studio musicians and is\naccompanied this time by guests Kim Wilson (The Fabulous\nThunderbirds), Tim O’Brien and singer Ruth Moody (Wailin’ Jennys),\namong others.
