A Woman A Man Walked By

Thirteen years after their first collaborative LP, 1996's 'Dance Hall At Louse Point', indie legend PJ Harvey and musician/producer John Parish return with 'A Woman A Man Walked By'. Characteristically dark in tone, the album mixes tortured love songs with narrative folk songs. Harvey, in a similar vein to her extensive solo discography, is an intense vocal performer, balancing with some of the folkier influences. Alongside the central duo, the legendary keyboardist Eric Drew Feldman (Captain Beefheart's Magic Band, Pixies, Frank Black) makes several appearances. Flood, the noted producer, collaborates with Harvey and Parish on technical duties.
