Akron’s finest are back with another album of blues-based riffage and thumping beats, and I sure ain’t complainin’. From the first few seconds of the opener ‘Just got to be’, guitarist/ vocalist Dan Auerbach spits out riff after riff of Zeppelin-esque blues-drenched rock over the top of Pat Carey’s monster pummeling percussion, with the odd excursion into ’60’s psychedelia (‘Strange Desire’).
