KD Lang released one of the top five bestsellers in Readings history in late 2004. Hymns of the 49th Parallel has sold more than 2,500 copies in our stores and continues to win new fans every week. Watershed is her first album since then, and her first album of newly written songs since 2000. It is also the first album KD has produced herself. I would suggest to anyone who bought that album that they give Watershed a good listen; it will take a little while to sink in (and after all Hymns had the advantage of being an album of classic Canadian songs) but her songwriting skills are still there and her voice is still great. Definitely a grower.
