The Classic 100 survey has been conducted by ABC Classic FM each year since its incarnation in 2002. Its purpose has been to search for Australia’s favourite classical music. The subsequent recordings following the surveys have been huge successes due to the wonderful performances and great cross section of music. It’s been an excellent forum to promote classical music and will continue this year with The Classic 100 Chamber Music survey.
