Yes Yes Yes Yes YES! It's here!! I have been so excited about this you wouldn't believe and for all you Evernight lovers you will have been too......yes.....the sequel is finally here.... Stargazer!

But, before I go into how much I enjoyed the sequel I must quickly explain Evernight (book 1) By Claudie Gray for everyone who hasn't read it.

Bianca is dreading her first day at her new boarding school, Evernight Academy, where her parents are to be teachers and herself a student. Fitting in with her glamorous peers is going to be hard and the eeriness of the school doesn't help. But, as Bianca starts to make friends, realises that her room mate isn't so bad and meets the mysterious Lucas she begins to think that everything at Evernight Academy is pretty normal....until life gets complicated! Evernight is fun, has twists I never saw coming and above all, has vampires! And then there is Stargazer!

I always think it's going to be hard to beat the first book of any series, so I am always very surprised when a sequel does just that.

Stargazer continues on pretty much from where we left off at the end of Evernight (which cannot be mentioned as it would spoil it for people who haven't read it), except that things have gotten weirder around the school. Figures start appearing in hallways and there is a cold feeling that someone, or thing, is watching everyone. As trouble starts and lives become at risk, Evernight Academy realises there is a new evil they must fight.

Stargazer, for me, was more fun than Evernight as well as more haunting. Add the fact that the handsome Balthazar is much more present and the love story gets a bit of oomph to it and you really do have a killer vampire story (I'm sorry for that last bit, but I really couldn't think of anything else!).
