It's 50 years since the United
Nations adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to
protect and promote individuals across the world. Two new books
have been released to celebrate and remind us of its importance.
The edition illustrated by
Michel Streich is a lovely relatively restrained edition,
printed in black, white and red. The other
We Are All Born Free, aimed more at children, is a
large picture book with a joyful array of colours from a wide
variety of picture book illustrators, including Polly Dunbar, Bob
Graham and Catherine and Laurence Anholt.
