On the first
weekend of October the newer and bigger Readings St Kilda shop
opens with a bang.
To celebrate we have invited a fabulous list of local writers, illustrators and musicians to share their latest work. We hope you can join in the opening weekend festivities.
Sat 2nd October
Kim Kane for the kids -10.30am
Join local author Kim as she reads aloud and talks about her new
clever, funny picture book
The Vegetable Ark - about a pair of brothers with totally
different approaches to a crisis.
Kate Holden in conversation with Michael Williams -
2pm
Kate Holden (In
My Skin) will talk about her new book
The Romantic about her travels and loves in Italy with the
Wheeler Centre’s Michael Williams.
Jazz with The Fallingwater Trio - 6pm
The trio of Phil Bywater saxophone, Elliott Folvig, guitar and Dale
Lindrea, electric bass will play some seductive soundscapes.
