The shortlist for the 2010 AMP award - the Australian Music Prize - was announced today in Sydney. Lisa Mitchell won the 2009 prize with Wonder and the 2010 shortlist is a good reminder of some of the great Australian albums that were released last year.

The Holidays's album Post Paradise has already been chosen as the winner of the $15,000 prize for Best Debut Release and the overall winner will be announced on March 3 and receives $30,000 in prize money.
