Richard Flanagan remains our top seller for another week! We were delighted early last week when he was named a joint-winner of the Prime Minister’s Literary Award for Fiction and promptly gifted his full $40,000 prize money to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. (Bob Graham, who was named the winner of the Children’s Fiction Award, also donated some of his winnings to a non-profit organisation – the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre.)

We were then delights again when the man himself dropped by Readings to sign copies of his book’s commemorative hardback edition. There are still some copies in-store if you’re looking for a gift idea…

Another prize winner in our top sellers this week is Ceridwen Dovey. Earlier this year, Only The Animals was the inaurgal winner of the Readings New Australian Writing Award and last week, was also awarded the Australian Short Story Collection - Steele Rudd Award.
