Cate Kennedy spoke with Nam Le at a special Readings and Asialink event last night about his marvellous debut book of short stories The Boat.

Nam talked about his own criticisms of his writing, the state of the short story in Australia and getting his arse kicked at the Iowa Writers' Workshop before he signed copies of The Boat for a throng of enthusaistic readers.
