Margo Lanagan, Leanne Hall and John Flanagan make the longlist for the 2012 Inky Awards.
The
longlist for the 2012 Inky Awards for the best teen literature has
been announced, with Margo Lanagan, Leanne Hall and John Flanagan
all nominated for the Gold Inky award for Australian releases, and
Patrick Ness, Marie Lu and Maggie Stiefvater making the cut for the
Silver Inky, which goes to an international novel.
Four teen judges, along with writers James Moloney and Danielle Binks, will whittle the books down to a shortlist of five in both categories. The winner will be voted in by readers under 20 on Inside A Dog from August 27, and announced on October 24.
