The longlist of books in contention for the 2010 Man Booker Prize for Fiction has been announced and included on the list are Australians Peter Carey (for Parrot and Olivier in America) and Christos Tsiolkas (for The Slap). Huge congratulations to both authors and everyone else making up the 'Man Booker Dozen' too.

The shortlist will be announced on September 7 with the eventual winner taking home the £50,000 prize money on October 12.
