jolley Entries are now open for one of Australia's biggest short story competitions - the ABR Elizabeth Jolley Short Story Prize.

The prize, which honours the late, great Australian writer Elizabeth Jolley (left), awards the winner publication in the September fiction issue of the ABR and $5000. Second place wins $2000 and third wins $1000.

Last year the award was shared by prominent Australian authors Gregory Day (author of The Grand Hotel) and Carrie Tiffany (author of the recently-released Mateship With Birds).
