The winners of the 2010 Eisner Awards for great achievement in comics and graphic novels were announced at Comic-Con in San Diego over the weekend.

We were happy to see a couple of Readings favourites get some big awards - mostly David Mazzuccheilli for his amazing graphic novel Asterios Polyp (which the above scene is taken from) and Joe Sacco for his graphic non-fiction book Footnotes in Gaza .

- Best Adaptation from Another Work: Richard Stark's Parker: The Hunter adapted by Darwyn Cooke
