Bruce
Mutard's fab new graphic novel The Sacrifice was launched
last night as he and Melbourne comic-identity Bernard Caleo (editor
of the local TANGO
romance comics anthology) did what the characters in The
Sacrifice like doing most - chatting and drinking tea. That's
Bernard pouring on the right, with assistance from Bruce.
The rise of the graphic
novel was discussed as were the how-tos of reimagining the past
with words and pictures and Bruce's hefty future workload - he is
already signed to do another three books.
And Bernard was right on
theme as he came dressed in the garb of the 1940s and resembled
Robert Wells - The Sacrifice's protagonist - to a tee. And
check out Bernard's
blog of the evening as well.
