Following on from Nam Le selling the most books at last year's writers festival, another local author - Steven Amsterdam - had done the same thing at the 2009 festival. After winning the Age Book of the Year award with Things We Didn't See Coming, Amsterdam beat out visiting international authors Bernhard Schlink, Thomas Buergenthal and Anne Michaels to sell the most books at our festival bookshop at Federation Square.

  1. Things We Didn't See Coming — Steven Amsterdam
