Australian crime fiction writer Peter Temple's new novel Truth sold more copies at Readings last week than Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol to sit atop the bestsellers list. Man Booker-shortlisted books by Hilary Mantel and J.M. Coetzee are also doing well in the lead up to next week's announcement of the Man Booker prize winner.
