Colm Tóibín's new novel came out last week and hit the bestsellers list hard. Norman Doidge's return to Melbourne last week saw The Brain That Changes Itself jump back into the list, as did Christian Lander's Stuff White People Like afer his Australian visit (including a stopover at Readings Carlton) which was principally for the Sydney Writers' Festival.
